Friendship United Methodist Church

For over 150 years, Friendship UMC has been an integral part of the Monticello and Browns Summit community. Established as a place where believers could worship in love and harmony, our mission is “to build and sustain a Christian community where believers know, love, and serve God.” Ours is a journey of head, heart, and hands. We want to know God with our head, love God with our heart, and serve God with our hands. Our legacy is one of service to God and man, providing hope for a hurting world. Friendship is a church in transition, striving to uphold time-honored traditions while looking to strengthen our outreach through more contemporary venues providing a multi-sensory experience of worshiping the living Christ. We are a family-oriented fellowship with an eye on the future whose vision is “changing lives through Christian community and renewing the church.”
