An Evening with the Bishop -- March 14, 2010

On Sunday, March 14th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm,
Bishop Larry M. Goodpaster will be in Greensboro
to meet with our Lay Leaders and Lay Delegates in the Greensboro District.
One of the topics the Bishop plans to talk about is "The Power of Three." This will be a great opportunity to meet and fellowship with our Bishop. Let's insure the succcess of this gathering with a hugh turn-out.

Bishop Larry M. Goodpaster challenged clergy and laity during the 2009 Western NC Annual Conference, with "3 goals" then repeated them for those who were not present in his June 22 Bishop G's E-pistle.
"Those are strategic, measurable goals that can be achieved if all of us together unite in common effort to follow Jesus, make disciples, and transform the world. What will be needed? Creativity, commitment, and intentional efforts to practice the faith we proclaim. For now, I hope that you will lift these goals in prayer, that you will explore what can happen in the community where you serve, and that you will renew personal commitments to live as faithful, fruitful disciples daily."
