In "Jesus Goes To College" Willimon will explore the relationship between the Church and Academia. Willimon has served as bishop of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church since 2004 and previously served for 15 years as Dean of the Chapel at Duke University. He is an internationally known speaker and author of more than 50 books. He was named in a 1996 Baylor University survey as one of the 12 best preachers in the English-speaking world.
Greensboro College is dedicated to strengthening ties with the Church and to exploring avenues of cooperation. The establishment of The Reynolds Lecture is simply one means through which we hope to foster this relationship. We hope that you can join us.
