And we are committed to helping you discover how God wants to help you use your God-given gifts and talents to transform the world for love.
Worship is central to the life of Grace Church! Each Sunday we gather from all parts of Greensboro and Guilford County to sing, offer prayers, read scripture and hear messages that help us experience God’s presence, understand the implications our faith has for our everyday lives and know that we are not on this journey called “life” alone.
At Grace, however, we understand that we all have different backgrounds and personality types. Some of us experience God’s presence best in a worship that includes high energy music, multimedia. Others like a more casual laid back atmosphere to worship. And, others experience God’s presence best through a worship service that is more traditional, contemplative and liturgical in style. Consequently, we offer three totally different styles of worship at Grace Church.
As you “Discover Grace” we want you to know that you’ll find us to be a tremendous community of faith. Grace is made up of people from all walks of life, all denominations, and all faith backgrounds. It is our mission to “reach, teach, and unleash people for Christ”. So, at Grace we accept you just as you are and where ever you are on your faith journey.
At Grace we also believe that fellowship with others is an important part of any faith journey. We offer a bi-monthly membership inquiry class called “Discovering Grace”, where you can learn much more about us.

The church was founded in 1825. Membership is 554 and we offer programs for all age groups.

During the fall & winter, we offer a Wednesday family night that includes a healthy meal, and Bible Study.

We have boy and girl scout troops that meet weekly. The Pleasant Garden Lions Club meets here each month. On the second Tuesday of the month, at 10:30am, we host the Friendly Club.

Each year we offer an old fashion "Camp Meeting" in historic outdoor arbor, beginning the fourth Sunday of July.

We have a weekday daycare for preschoolers (6 weeks - 6 years) and after-school care for Kindergarten - 5th grade.

We are a host site for Angel Food ministries and we have a food pantry to help meet the needs in our community. We are a relay drop off site for Operation Christmas Child.

West Market Street United Methodist Church offers ministries for persons of all ages and stages in life and faith development.

Spiritual formation for children takes place in the atria, a warm, welcoming environment where children learn that they are children of God and can have a special relationship with God through Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Youth learn with caring, committed adults what it means to live out one's faith in the world and how our faith intersects with life issues. They are engaged through mission opportunities to act on their faith through love of neighbor.

A variety of opportunities abound for adults to begin to learn about the Christian faith and to mature as followers of Christ. Whether it is serving the community on Pancake Day, working in a Habitat House, being part of a Bible study, visiting shut-ins, or singing in the choir, there is a place for everyone to serve and grow in faith.

We strive to be a congregation marked by spiritual awakening and nourishment; diverse and powerful opportunities to worship, learn and serve; discipleship in the Wesley group format; creative outreach ministry that meets real needs; and organizational structure that energizes lay ministry.

We are a long-established (1888), forward-looking, progressive congregation. As our motto states: “Rural Roots...Urban Vision.” We preserve the warmth and genuine friendliness of a small congregation while expanding our reach to the community and world through growing programs of youth and childrens ministries, vounteers in mission, contemporary and traditional worship, multiple study groups, and diverse Sunday School learning settings. New Goshen is a welcoming congregation that seeks to follow Jesus Christ by offering opportunities for all levels of the Humane Family to serve. We have programs for children, youth , adults and older adults. Our mission is to keep the family together by serving God together. Come help us lift up the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We offer compact disc recordings of our Pastor's inspiring sermons by request. The word of God is preached, teached and followed at New Goshen.

The vision statement of FaithWalk is “To create a safe space where EVERYONE — those who are tired, skeptical, unchurched, disconnected, and frustrated — would love to attend and grow together in their understanding of God.” We strive to learn more each day about our emerging culture in order to minister to emerging generations. Our worship services are contemporary/alternative in style, and our environment is welcoming to all people, supported with strong children’s, youth, and young adult ministries. We love coffee, and have a light breakfast every Sunday morning. Come join in!

Mount Pisgah Church is a community of believers who unabashedly call themselves Christian. St. Matthews is a dynamic congregation of young and old alike who nurture each other, reach out to others and witness to the glory of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ministries are in place to assist persons on their spiritual journey and to enable them to share that journey with others.
