Singles Ministry

Strong rural country church with tradition, informal worhsip services. We offer mission opportunities for adults, youth and children; some of which take members to Armenia, Bolivia, Mexioc and the Bahamas. We also support the local elementary school. Laity of all ages are encouraged to share their talents in our worship services.

St. Matthews is a dynamic congregation of young and old alike who nurture each other, reach out to others and witness to the glory of God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ministries are in place to assist persons on their spiritual journey and to enable them to share that journey with others.

Center Church is a vibrant and living representation of Jesus Christ in the world. We offer excellent ministries in the areas of Seniors – Companions in Christ, After School Care – Kids Zone, Youth Group, Small Group experiences and excellent Contemporary and Traditional Worship. College Place is a medium-sized congregation composed of people of all ages. This church was established over 100 years ago to minister to students at what has become UNCG, and it housed the Wesley Foundation for many years. It continues to have a significant ministry with students from both UNCG and Greensboro College but also draws people from all over Greensboro because of its central location and lively, blended worship.

Christ Church is one of the largest United Methodists Churches in the Greensboro District, but we proudly call each member a part of our family of faith. Our mission is to make disciples for Jesus Christ by being a community of faith where the Gospel is encountered, embraced, and embodied.
